This type of material must not only meet the flexibility required for daily labeling, but also maintain dimensional stability in high temperature environments, which places extremely high demands on material formulation and process. As one of the earliest domestic companies focusing on the research and development and production of self-adhesive materials, Shanghai Baozhongbao Adhesive Products Co., Ltd. has been committed to solving key technical problems in the application of such materials. Its high temperature resistant PVC label products have been widely used in high temperature environments such as electric vehicles and home appliances.
To achieve a perfect balance between flexibility and shrinkage resistance, we first need to start with the material formulation. Ordinary PVC materials are prone to deformation and shrinkage at high temperatures, which is mainly due to the rearrangement of molecular chains under heat. The later heat treatment process is also indispensable. Through a specific heat setting process, the internal stress of the material can be released in advance, thereby significantly reducing its shrinkage rate during subsequent use. High-quality high temperature resistant adhesives must not only have good initial viscosity, but also maintain stable bonding strength under high temperature environments. Although the common acrylic adhesives on the market are low in cost, their performance in extreme high temperature environments is often unsatisfactory. In contrast, although silicone adhesives are more expensive, their excellent temperature resistance makes them the first choice for high temperature applications.
